Indiana Child Services removed a child from the home of a Catholic couple who wouldn’t affirm the gender identity of their transgender son because they raised him according to their faith. The child has not been reunited with his parents after investigations confirmed the parents did not abuse or mistreat their son. The state uses “gender-affirming care” as the primary factor that evaluates parent fitness for LGBTQ-identifying children. The faith-based love of a Christian home is now a harmful environment for children.
